The events one faces in life are often driven by chance, or by facts which cannot be rationalized. In these cases, legends are often used to explain these events. This is the subject for the short story. It is accompanied by Riccarda De Eccher’s watercolors of the Dolomites which depicts the setting of the story.
These are two interlaced stories of loneliness portray an old man and a teenage girl wandering across the Fanes plateau trying to find themselves as they search for their equilibrium. For a short moment, their lives meet during a sudden and magical August snowstorm. This fortuitous meeting allows both of them to find the strength to make sharp turns in their lives.
