Memories, atmospheres, sounds and images. How many different sensations, coming from different level of awareness does the word “snow” evokes. Nothing is more simple, but at the same time complicated, as its own crystal, its own shapes.
In the story, the emotion created by the snow becomes part of the plot and it shows a lynch and a South American woman on the background of the mountain’ s candid mantel. The well described landscape and the experience lived by the author in real life makes the two characters easy to believe. This is the second collaboration with Riccarda de Eccher, who, with her pastel drawings, adds to the beauty of the book.
