Riccarda de Eccher was born in Bolzano, Italy and then moved to Udine.
She starts painting at a mature age, mostly in watercolor. Mountains, wich she always loved, are her subject.
She published, as a collaboration with writers, several little books. With Enrico Maria Pizzarotti, "La Cengia Paolina", 2004; "Bianco di Neve", 2005; "Un Compagno di Cordata", 2006; "Il Bivacco della Pace"; with Fabio Pasian "Fanes" (2009), with Piero Mozzi "Ritratto di Montagna" (2010), with Raffaella Cargnelutti "Viandante sul mare di nebbia" (2011), all pubbished by Antiquità Edizioni.
Her first exhibition was in 2006, as the Libreria Sovilla in Cortina. Many followed.
She lives with her husband and her two children on Long Island (New York).
